A BIG PUSH TO WORLD-CLASS TOURISM: STRATEGIC ANALYSIS AND OPPORTUNITIES
The Department of Management, Faculty of Business and Economics Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA) invite scholars, practitioners/businessmen and students to participate in the 14th International Annual Symposium on Management will be held on March 3rd – 4th, 2017 at Aston Tanjung Pinang Hotel and Conference Center
BACKGROUND
Region prepared to face up to modern challenges of tourism to promote tourism destination product with world class attractions, standards and facilities. It would need investment policy and cultural preservation as a part of sustainability in achieving economic integration that could give benefit to all countries. This strategy has been guided by tourism trends such as the emergence of new competing destinations, the increasing demand and the presence of emerging economies. This process focuses on tourism products and markets that will allow each country government to connect with a greater number of visitors from around the world. Tourism industry depends on the conservation of the environment, increased economic growth, new business opportunities and job creation across the province. The result of the success strategy implementation will extend far beyond the sector, as tourism enhances province’s reputation as a premier destination to visit, invest, work–live, and integration with the global community. The strength of tourism destination product will be counted and will continue to find ways how economic integration in tourism sector can achieve the sustainability of: growth of economic, prosperity and welfare to all countries. This 14th INSIMA encourage participants to bring a big push in strategies to overcome all challenges and find opportunities in tourism industry of each country to become world class tourism.
