Abstract
AI has the potential to reshape the global economy, offering predictive functions. However, in a strictly controlled industry such as finance, its deployment creates deep tensions between innovation and regulatory stability. Current research highlights possible uses and benefits; nevertheless, industry leaders still face a lack of clarity in handling these opposing forces in real-world settings. This study fills this missing piece by examining public statements from financial world leaders, thus analyzing practical viewpoints on AI deployment. This research identifies the main tensions that emerge during AI deployment and provides a structure for how financial institutions can direct and oversee the deployment process. For practitioners, this research offers principles that guide financial leaders, managers, developers, and regulators to govern AI deployment.
