Abstract

Mobile banking adoption in Indonesia remains uneven despite rapid digitalization. This study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating trust, self-efficacy, and social influence to explain adoption intention. Data from 415 respondents across five major cities were analyzed using structural equation modeling (AMOS 24). Results show that perceived usefulness, trust, self-efficacy, and social influence directly drive adoption intention, while perceived ease of use operates indirectly through perceived usefulness. Trust is the most dominant predictor, emphasizing security and privacy concerns. The findings enrich TAM literature in emerging market settings and suggest banks prioritize user confidence and digital literacy.
